I laughed when I read this post at Mottel's Letters of Thoughts's , I run to show it to my roommate, who laughed too:
My roomy and I argue a lot about this, as soon as I walk inside the house, she tells me that she called to tell me that we need a light bulb, soap, or food...but I never called her back to find out!!
Her argument is that I should call back if I see her missed call, my argument is: with/900 minutes on my plan, I can't call back each missed call until 7 pm when my free minutes start, if you don't leave a voicemail, I assume it is not an urgent matter.
However, I get so annoyed when a certain person calls...5 times, and leave a message each and every time they call!
Again, I only have 900 minutes to spear in 30 days, take of shabbos and free Sundays, it is about 37 min/day, add the mom factor, (my dear mom calls about 2 hours/week from the other side of the planet, she doesn't want to know about skype/intrnet)...That is 95 minutes per week for friends, teachers, employers, co-workers, shadachanim, rabbeim, and miscellaneous voicemails!
Too much to hear, too few minutes...
